Introduction

ALTOHEALTH Contains Triphala 750 mg. Triphala is an herbal formulation of three dried fruits from herbal plants in equal proportion: Terminaliachebula, Terminalia bellirica and Phyllanthus emblica. Triphala have beneficial effect on the entire gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Triphala improve lower GI symptoms and maybe a valuable and effective addition to standard treatment of IBS.

ALTOHEALTH support Formula is supplied in single dose tablets for oral administration. 15 tablets are packed in a blister and 4 blisters are packaged in one box with a leaflet.

Important Information

Dosing

  • Adults and children aged 15 and above: One or two tablets once daily
  • Children between 7-15: one tablet once daily

Contraindications & Cautions

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
  • Abnormal constriction of the GI
  • Potential or exiting intestinal blockage
  • Atonic bowel
  • Appendicitis
  • Inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis
  • Abdominal pain of unknown origin
  • Severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes

Warnings/Precautions

  • Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
  • Kidney disorders, fever or nausea/ vomiting
